This role is within the Magistrates Early Referral into Treatment (MERIT) program.

Responsibilities or duties

Deliver case management services to clients referred through the MERIT program.

Work closely with Magistrates, courts, and health professionals to support treatment pathways.

Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor client progress.

Liaise with community services and agencies to coordinate care.

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with NSW Health standards.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Relevant tertiary qualifications in health, social work, psychology, or related field.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and justice system environment.

Current driver’s licence and ability to travel as required.

Experience needed

Experience in drug and alcohol or mental health case management.
