NOW HIRING – MACHINE OPERATORS (Vertical Form Seal Machine)
Temp to Perm Positions
Location: Smeaton Grange
Shifts: Monday to Friday – AM + PM Shifts Available
We’re seeking a reliable and skilled Machine Operators to operate a Vertical Form Seal Machine used to seal fresh produce (top and bottom). You’ll be working in a cold room environment and supporting a busy production team.
AM Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm — $37 per hour (Monday - Friday)
PM Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm — $42 per hour (Monday - Saturday - Wednesday off)
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor Vertical Form Seal Machines to package fresh produce.
- Perform quality checks to ensure sealed bags meet company standards.
- Labelling products
- Dispatching orders
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to meet production targets.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a machine operator - VFFS bagging machine high advantageous
- Solid experience within a fast paced FMCG industry
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and Basic Food Hygiene
- Ability to work in a cool environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
