About the opportunity

As our Freight Handler/Truck Driver, you’ll be based in our Townsville based StarTrack facility, working with colleagues across our processing and deliveries teams to keep the cogs of our business turning. Safely operating a forklift and also sorting product on the floor, you’ll support with loading parcels/pallets for our delivery and transport drivers to head out on the road and deliver for Australia like never before. If you enjoy variety, then this combination operations role is one for you.

This is a full time permanent opportunity working Mon-Fri from 2pm-10pm, with a pay rate of $33.82/ph plus 12% super and a 17.5% penalty rate for the PM shift along with overtime rates.

About you

• Hold a valid LF Forklift Licence with experience.
• Hold a valid MR Truck License
• Be fit enough to lift/load and unload parcel/freight items of all different shapes and sizes frequently around our facilities and into trucks up to 30kg.
• Be safety-focused, willing to undergo a vehicle assessment and pre-employment checks (medical, drug/alcohol screening and national criminal checks).
• You’re a self-starter that enjoys working in a busy operations environment.
• You enjoy connecting with others in the community to support us to deliver on time, and like never before.
