What You’ll Do:
- Support and guide lifesaving clubs to deliver safe, effective and high‑quality services
- Work closely with Club Captains, Branch Officers and regional leaders to strengthen operations
- Build strong community relationships with volunteers, councils and emergency services
- Oversee compliance, planning and quality assurance for lifesaving activities
- Conduct service audits, identify gaps and help drive improvement initiatives
- Maintain and update regional Lifesaving Service Plans
- Assist with incident reviews and contribute to emergency response coordination
- Prepare accurate operational reports for regional and branch leadership
- Represent SLSQ professionally and help promote community safety
About You:
Essential
- Working with Children Blue Card (or the ability to obtain)
- Bronze Medallion / Cert II Public Safety (or ability to obtain)
- Advanced Resuscitation & First Aid certificates (or the ability to obtain)
- Driver Licence
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Flexibility for occasional weekends/evenings for meetings, carnivals or volunteer support
Desirable
- Knowledge of surf lifesaving operations or community‑based service programs
