Background
Join our team and play a key role in maintaining and improving our community’s infrastructure.
Council is seeking two motivated and reliable Labourers to join our Maintenance team, supporting both capital works and ongoing maintenance programs. These hands-on roles offer a broad variety of work, including site preparation, concrete and road construction, traffic control setup, signage installation, erosion control, and the operation of small plant and equipment.

YOUR WORKING ENVIRONMENT (for eligible employees)
A weekly rate of $1,120 with progression up to $1,261 dependent upon skills and experience, plus 12% superannuation
Work a 9-day fortnight, based on a 38-hour working week
Flexible and hybrid working arrangements under Council’s Flex First Procedure including access to an individualised hour agreement
Access to 2 health and wellbeing leave days for your Christmas break
Access to 3 weeks sick leave per year, cumulative where unused
Access to long service leave after 5 years of employment
Salary packaging options available including novated leasing
Generous paid parental leave arrangements for both parents
