Background information about the job or company
Trojan Recruitment Group is currently seeking an Experienced Office Assistant to join our client located at Minto. Our client is a manufacturer and supplier of road safety barrier systems throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
Responsibilities or duties
Key responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, scanning and document management.
- Maintain maintenance and QA records, databases and filing systems (both electronic and physical copies)
- Support Accounts-related tasks such as processing invoices, purchase order and maintenance work creation, as well as expense tracking.
- Prepare reports, letters and other documents as required.
- Assist management and staff with ADHOC administrative tasks
- Order and Manage office and PPE supplies.
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails and other correspondence professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient office environment.
- Ensure confidentiality of company information at all times.
Qualifications or requirements
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a office/administrative assistant.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software tools.
- Experience in field of manufacturing (desirable)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and support process improvements
Any other provided details
To be successful for this role, you MUST be able to pass a Criminal History Check/ Police Check with ‘No Disclosable Outcomes’ and a Drug and Alcohol test prior to commencement.
