Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Hire & Transport Coordinator to join our Melbourne team. You will work to maintain and increase the level of support provided to our customers and sales teams by providing both short and long term rental solutions through the offer of TMHA's material handling products.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the Victorian hire fleet to ensure maximum utilisation and profitability.
- Record sales and rental enquiries and advise applicable departments when necessary.
- Where appropriate recommend increase/reductions in the size of the casual hire fleet and advise managers when equipment has exceeded its economic life.
- Manage the transport of material handling equipment to meet customer requirements.
- Ensure all rental units are set up and contracted for rental as required.
- Ensure all rental agreements are signed and stored both physically and electronically.
- Assist with locating material handling equipment for used sales & processing accordingly.
- Process credits in line with TMHA policies and procedures.
- Ensure all supplier invoices for transport and sub-hire equipment are monitored, reviewed and processed in a timely manner.
- Assist with regular stocktakes and locating units from within the branch as well as potentially sourcing rental equipment from interstate rental fleets to fulfil customer requirements.
- Assist with transport loading and unloading as required.
Skills & Experience:
You have:
- Previous administration experience. Cert IV Business Administration preferred but not required.
- Previous experience within the material handling industry preferable but not necessary.
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Sound organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail; adopt a methodical approach to tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable displaying initiative whilst problem solving.
- High level of computer literacy including Microsoft office applications.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and preference to work in a collaborative, team-based environment.
