About the Role

Join our field service team delivering high voltage (HV) testing, commissioning, and advanced diagnostic services to utility and industrial clients across Australia.

You’ll work with industry-leading equipment on technically challenging projects, including cutting-edge Partial Discharge (PD) testing and monitoring. This is a hands-on role with strong client interaction, suited to someone who enjoys both technical work and problem-solving in the field.

Ongoing training and development are a key part of the role, with exposure to specialised HV testing techniques and emerging technologies.

About You

This role would suit a qualified electrician or electrical engineer with experience in high voltage systems.

You will:

  • Be comfortable working autonomously in field environments
  • Have strong communication skills and a professional client-facing approach
  • Be willing to travel regularly across Australia
  • Take pride in producing clear, high-quality technical reports

Essential Requirements

  • Electrical licence or electrical engineering degree
  • Experience in HV testing and/or electrical condition monitoring on industrial or utility sites
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Willingness to travel
  • Strong report writing skills with excellent written English

Desirable Experience

  • Partial Discharge (PD) testing
  • Protection relay testing and programming
  • HV testing including:
    • Tan Delta
    • Insulation Resistance (IR)
    • Withstand testing
    • Fault location
  • VESI authorisations
  • Construction Induction (White Card)
  • A good sense of humour and a professional attitude
