Role Context
As the Head of Campaign Management, you will serve as the strategic architect and custodian of the Qantas Loyalty Campaign Management team, driving best-in-class execution of our marketing calendar. Reporting directly to the Head of Centre of Excellence (CoE), you are charged with providing sophisticated, enterprise-level leadership to bridge the gap between high-level brand strategy and tangible, high-impact commercial outcomes, and acting as the glue between the Marketing Planning & Partnership and CoE teams.
Responsibilities
In this pivotal leadership capacity, you hold end-to-end ownership of the campaign management governance framework, continuously evolving and optimising processes to drive operational and executional excellence and radical creative innovation across a vast, multi-layered ecosystem. Your influence extends across a complex network of internal business units and external agencies, where you are responsible for ensuring executional excellence that consistently exceeds the most rigorous business expectations.
As a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, you provide high-level strategic guidance to the Loyalty Leadership Team and senior stakeholders, leveraging creative thought leadership to align marketing initiatives with overarching organisational objectives. You are a leader who inspires a high-performance team to challenge the status quo, ensuring that every campaign not only meets but actively redefines global industry benchmarks for loyalty marketing and customer engagement.
Qualifications and Experience
What You’ll Bring:
- 12+ years of experience in account management or related roles within a full-service advertising agency
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
- Proven track record of leading and growing large, complex client portfolios with a focus on delivering exceptional results
- Experience in leading and mentoring senior teams, with a focus on fostering a high-performance culture
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships at the C-suite level
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in managing multi-million-dollar accounts and driving profitability
- Demonstrated thought leadership in the marketing industry, with a passion for innovation and creativity
- Design, implement, and continuously evolve a world class Campaign Management governance framework
- Act as a high-level marketing consultant and trusted advisor to the Qantas Loyalty leadership team
