Due to an internal promotion, the opportunity of a lifetime to take the lead as our Head Chef, has become available. A $20m renovation has already commenced, now is the opportunity for you to jump onboard and be part of the team that launches a brand new 350 seat restaurant at this multi award winning Club. You’ll bring vision, creativity, and leadership to our dining operations. With the support of the Executive Chef, you will assist in managing day-to-day operations while guiding a dedicated and energetic back-of-house team.

Responsibilities or duties

• Day-to-day kitchen operations for both the restaurant and café.
• Leading and mentoring a large team, fostering a culture of teamwork and pride.
• Creating innovative menus and offerings.
• Managing costs, budgets, and stock to keep the kitchen running efficiently.
• Maintaining the highest standards of food safety and workplace health & safety.
• Reporting to and working closely with the Executive Chef on driving the new direction of the catering department.

Qualifications or requirements

• Experience leading a team in a large-scale, multi-outlet environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a large team.
• A creative flair to menu design, balancing tradition with innovation and a strong attention to detail.
• Strong financial and operational acumen, with a proven record of running a large successful kitchen.
• Passion for hospitality, quality food, and delivering memorable dining experiences.
