The Opportunity

The HSEQ Manager is critical to our operations and service across APAC. As an experienced health and safe leader, you will lead a team that oversees all health, safety, environment and quality activities, across APAC. With multiple projects secured and in the pipeline across the APAC region, this is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in wind power generation to join a rapidly expanding global business.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Management and development of regional HSEQ team ensuring appropriate levels of support are provided for the successful execution of operations
  • Ensuring the HSEQ team has the capabilities necessary to support the region
  • Implementation of HSEQ plans, objectives and targets
  • Providing positive leadership and promoting best practice
  • Monitoring of HSEQ initiatives to improve company performance
  • Supporting development, promotion and monitoring of HSEQ culture
  • Iterfacing with HSEQ and operational teams from customers and suppliers
  • Supporting the development and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS)
  • Providing support on assurance and audit processes
  • Assisting staff and contractors in compliance with legislation, customer requirements and contractual arrangements
  • Monitoring performance of suppliers and advising on improvement plans where necessary
  • Participating in industry HSEQ forums, providing updates within the business
  • Facilitating regional incident investigation and non-conformance review forums, sharing the lessons learned across the company

About you:

  • Minimum 8 to 10 years’ HSEQ management experience that includes managing and leading a health safety and quality team
  • Experienced in supporting the successful implementation of management systems
  • Ability to raise standards and drive transformational change
  • Ability to adapt, connect and engage with people
  • Trained HSEQ auditor
  • Experienced incident investigator
  • Experience in the renewables or resources industry would be looked upon favourably but is not essential
  • Ability to build relationships, strong attention to detail, high integrity, and ability to communicate with wide ranging stakeholders in a fast-paced changing environment
  • As part of the recruitment process, you may be required to undertake pre-employment checks (may include police checks, medical assessment and/or drug and alcohol testing).
