A part-time HRBP role for a manufacturing company, based in Sydney CBD, approx. 20 hours of work per week
Your new company
You will be joining a global medical device manufacturer with offices based in Sydney.
Your new role
This is a temp to perm role, part-time, 20 hours per week. The position is a true business partnering role, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership to drive people strategy, employee engagement, and organisational performance within a collaborative, matrixed environment. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Partner with senior leaders to provide commercially focused HR advice and support
- Coach and guide managers on employee relations, performance management, and workplace matters
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations cases and workplace investigations
- Support workforce planning, organisational design, and talent development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation across Australia and New Zealand
- Support end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and retention activities
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to bring:
- Experience in a HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role within a complex environment
- Strong capability in employee relations and case management, including investigations
- Solid understanding of employment legislation across Australia and New Zealand
- Demonstrated ability to influence and coach leaders at all levels
- Experience working within a global or matrixed organisation (highly regarded)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capability
