A part-time HRBP role for a manufacturing company, based in Sydney CBD, approx. 20 hours of work per week

Your new company

You will be joining a global medical device manufacturer with offices based in Sydney.

Your new role

This is a temp to perm role, part-time, 20 hours per week. The position is a true business partnering role, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership to drive people strategy, employee engagement, and organisational performance within a collaborative, matrixed environment. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Partner with senior leaders to provide commercially focused HR advice and support
  • Coach and guide managers on employee relations, performance management, and workplace matters
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations cases and workplace investigations
  • Support workforce planning, organisational design, and talent development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation across Australia and New Zealand
  • Support end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and retention activities

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need to bring:

  • Experience in a HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role within a complex environment
  • Strong capability in employee relations and case management, including investigations
  • Solid understanding of employment legislation across Australia and New Zealand
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and coach leaders at all levels
  • Experience working within a global or matrixed organisation (highly regarded)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capability
