DXC is seeking a highly organised Administrator to join our Public Sector Security Team and help embed a strong, enduring security culture. In this role, you will support the Chief Security Officer for DXC’s Public Sector Industry, contributing to the uplift of internal security governance and assurance practices to safeguard our assets—including those entrusted to us by our customers.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must hold a minimum Baseline security clearance and be capable of attaining an NV2 clearance.
This is a non-technical administrative role suited to someone with experience in security administration, vetting, or government environments, who thrives in a fast-paced, compliance-driven setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage security clearance requests, including onboarding and offboarding for personnel across public sector accounts
- Coordinate and track workforce movements (e.g., new starters, transfers, project roll-offs) from a security perspective
- Maintain accurate records across security systems, databases, and spreadsheets, ensuring strong governance and audit trails
- Monitor and triage a shared inbox, responding to security-related queries and escalating where required
- Support personnel through the security clearance process, including following up on outstanding documentation
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with security policies
- Conduct overseas travel briefings and maintain the travel register
- Assist with maintaining and improving security procedures and documentation
- Provide general administrative support to the Chief Security Officer and broader security team
- Attend meetings with clients and stakeholders as required
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Australian Citizenship with a current Baseline Clearance (and ability to obtain NV2)
- Experience in security, vetting, or government administration or a strong admin background in a regulated environment
- Knowledge of Commonwealth security frameworks (e.g. PSPF) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders
- Highly organised, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- A proactive, team-focused approach with the ability to work independently
