What does the job look like?
We’re currently on the lookout for an experienced forklift operator to join our high-performing team in East Arm, Darwin. This role will be responsible for supporting our day to day operations including loading/unloading trucks/trains, staging pallets & containers, consolidating freight and general yard duties. This role also presents an opportunity to upgrade and gain experience in a Reach Stacker. We have a permanent day shift role available working Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm plus overtime on Sundays. Key areas:
- Driving the commitment to Linfox Safety Standards at all times
- Counterbalance forklift operation
- Loading and unloading trucks and trailers
- General crossdocking duties including staging orders and maintaining a tidy workspace
- Thriving in a fast-paced, team environment
Are you the one?
- Hold a valid LF forklift license (counterbalance experience essential)
- RS forklift licence and experience highly desirable
- Loading and unloading freight with confidence
- Comfortable using basic computer systems, especially SAP or similar platforms
- Very safety conscious and be able to adhere to company policies and procedures
- Access to reliable transport
- Strong work ethic—reliable, punctual & hardworking
- A team player with a can-do attitude
