They are now seeking an exceptional Finance Manager to provide strategic financial leadership, accurate financial insights, manage a 4 person team and ensuring compliance with regulatory and funding requirements. To be considered you must have proven experience working within Not For Profit as well as Commercial roles.

THE ROLE:

• Lead a team of 4
• Lead the Financial Management & Reporting
• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Financial Governance & Compliance
• Maintain strong internal controls, financial policies, and procedures
• Support audit processes (internal and external) and implement audit recommendations
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen accuracy and efficiencies
• Lead optimisation of financial systems
• Stakeholder Engagement & Business Partnering
• Work collaboratively with Executive Leadership Team.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Undergraduate or postgraduate education in finance/accounting
• CPA or CA member or progressing towards completion
• Experience in Not-For-Profit industry as well as commercial industry
• Knowledge of finance within the AASB framework (Australian Accounting Standards)
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and governance
• Experience managing finance operations and leading teams
• High level analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
