Our client is a leading Not for Profit organisation with strong links to the community who provide invaluable services to an ever growing & evolving sector. They are now seeking an exceptional Finance Manager to provide strategic financial leadership, accurate financial insights, manage a 4 person team and ensuring compliance with regulatory and funding requirements. To be considered you must have proven experience working within Not For Profit as well as Commercial roles.
THE ROLE:
- Lead a team of 4
- Lead the Financial Management & Reporting
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Financial Governance & Compliance
- Maintain strong internal controls, financial policies, and procedures
- Support audit processes (internal and external) and implement audit recommendations
- Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen accuracy and efficiencies
- Lead optimisation of financial systems
- Stakeholder Engagement & Business Partnering
- Work collaboratively with Executive Leadership Team.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Undergraduate or postgraduate education in finance/accounting
- CPA or CA member or progressing towards completion
- Experience in Not-For-Profit industry as well as commercial industry
- Knowledge of finance within the AASB framework (Australian Accounting Standards)
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and governance
- Experience managing finance operations and leading teams
- High level analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
