Based at our Guildford workshop, you’ll also service customers across the metro area with occasional regional travel.

CJD Equipment has been operating in Australia since 1974, supporting Volvo Construction Equipment, Kenworth, DAF and Isuzu nationwide. We’re focused on equipment uptime, responsive service, parts certainty and strong OEM partnerships—backed by a reliable national branch network.

Responsibilities or duties

  • Service, diagnose and repair Volvo Wheel Loaders, Articulated Haulers, Excavators, and more.
  • Work autonomously in the field, troubleshooting mechanical issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Complete accurate reports and daily field records.
  • Use advanced diagnostic systems and parts catalogues.
  • Deliver high‑quality workmanship with a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications or requirements

  • Cert III Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's licence (HR preferred).
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem‑solving skills.
  • Confident communication and excellent customer service.
  • Self‑motivation, organisation, and availability for after‑hours/weekend work when required (penalties apply).

Experience needed

  • Volvo Construction Equipment experience is beneficial but not essential.

Any other provided details

  • Permanent full‑time role with excellent remuneration.
