About Us
We are seeking a dedicated Field Engineer to deliver high‑level technical support across the region. In this role, you will be responsible for on‑site troubleshooting, detailed issue analysis, and ensuring effective resolutions for customers. You will work closely with the engineering team, maintain accurate service records, and contribute to the organisation’s overall service performance and objectives. This position is ideal for a hands‑on problem solver who excels in dynamic field environments.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities and duties of the role:
- Provide high‑level, on‑site technical support for assigned products and solutions within the region.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to software, hardware, and system configuration.
- Conduct effective root‑cause analysis and gather all necessary information to address service requests.
- Collaborate closely with fellow Service Technicians to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records of customer cases within the call‑tracking system.
- Participate in conference calls and remote support sessions as required to assist in resolving customer concerns.
- Support departmental and organisational objectives by meeting performance targets and contributing to service outcomes.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the Employer from time to time.
Your Profile
- Highly preferred: Experience working with wide‑format printers or similar types of machinery (e.g., commercial copiers, industrial printers, or related electromechanical equipment).
- Candidates without wide‑format experience may still apply if they have strong technical skills and hands‑on experience with comparable machines.
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable personal vehicle for work-related travel (car allowance provided).
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and configuration issues.
- Ability to work independently in the field and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Good organisational skills, including maintaining accurate case records and documentation.
