Description

Gidgee Healing is seeking a dedicated Family Wellbeing Worker to join our Family Wellbeing Service (FWS). This Aboriginal Identified role supports vulnerable families through culturally safe, holistic care coordination and advocacy.

About the Role

  • Provide intensive, customised support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families
  • Develop and implement case plans guided by the QATSICPP framework
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions and culturally appropriate advocacy
  • Collaborate with internal and external service providers
  • Participate in community development and group work
  • Maintain accurate case notes and contribute to service evaluation

Who We’re Looking For

  • Qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services, or Youth Work
  • Experience in case management and trauma-informed practice
  • Strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to travel and work in remote areas
  • Current QLD Driver’s Licence, Blue Card, and Police Check
