Description
Gidgee Healing is seeking a dedicated Family Wellbeing Worker to join our Family Wellbeing Service (FWS). This Aboriginal Identified role supports vulnerable families through culturally safe, holistic care coordination and advocacy.
About the Role
- Provide intensive, customised support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families
- Develop and implement case plans guided by the QATSICPP framework
- Deliver therapeutic interventions and culturally appropriate advocacy
- Collaborate with internal and external service providers
- Participate in community development and group work
- Maintain accurate case notes and contribute to service evaluation

Who We’re Looking For
- Qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services, or Youth Work
- Experience in case management and trauma-informed practice
- Strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel and work in remote areas
- Current QLD Driver’s Licence, Blue Card, and Police Check
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 24
Level of Education: bachelor degree
