About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented Export Documentation Officer to support the smooth coordination of national and international shipments. You will play a critical role in preparing and processing export documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Working closely with internal teams, freight providers, and international partners, you will help facilitate efficient cargo movements. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and process export documentation, invoices, and manifests in line with regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate with processing plants to ensure timely receipt of all required documentation
  • Liaise with freight companies, cold storage facilities, and shipping lines to organise cargo movements
  • Manage stakeholder relationships including overseas brokers, customers, and internal teams
  • Monitor freight progress, track shipments, and ensure compliance with international import/export regulations

You are a highly organised and proactive professional with experience in export documentation or logistics. You have a strong understanding of compliance requirements and take a meticulous approach to your work. Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders, you communicate effectively and build strong relationships. You thrive under pressure, managing competing deadlines while maintaining accuracy.   • Strong knowledge of international trade documentation and customs/export compliance requirements
  • High level of accuracy with experience processing invoices in multiple currencies (USD & AUD)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Relevant experience in export documentation, freight forwarding, or logistics, along with any applicable industry certifications or qualifications
