We’re currently seeking a motivated, hands-on Exploration Geologist to join our dynamic geology team. This field-based role is offered on a family-friendly 8:6 FIFO roster and provides a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the success of our exploration programs, working with Core or RC, while growing your own skills in a supportive environment.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Perform geological fieldwork including mapping, sampling, drill site prep, and geochemical surveys.
- Support early-stage exploration through geochemical and geophysical programs, target generation, and drill planning.
- Supervise drilling team to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations.
- Manage sample collection, data validation, and QA/QC processes.
- Contribute to geological interpretation and analysis of exploration results.
- Lead and mentor field assistants and drilling crews.
- Coordinate field logistics including equipment and consumables.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with reporting.
- Champion safety through active participation in pre-starts, JHAs, and hazard management.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- B Sc (Geology) or equivalent.
- WA C Class Driver’s Licence or above
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Exploration Geologist, ideally within Archean gold deposits.
- Proficiency in geological software such as ArcGIS, Acquire, or Leapfrog (desirable).
- Solid understanding of QA/QC protocols, drilling and sampling techniques, and analytical methods used in gold exploration.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Current National Police Clearance
