Protech is seeking skilled Machine Operators, with a strong focus on Roller and Excavator Operators, for multiple civil projects across South Brisbane. Operators with additional machine experience (Loader, Moxy, Watercart, Grader, Dozer etc.) are also highly encouraged to apply.
Locations include: Logan | Greenbank | Redbank Plains | Ipswich | Victoria Point | Ormeau | CoomeraLive Northside? We also have potential opportunities available for candidates based in Northern Brisbane.
What’s on Offer
- Immediate starts available
- Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- $42–$54 per hour (based on experience & machine)
- Penalties after 7.6 hours + daily travel & meal allowance
- Opportunity to work across major road, subdivision, and infrastructure projects
About the Role
As an experienced Machine Operator, you will:
Responsibilities or duties
- Operate heavy machinary safely and efficiently on active civil worksites
- Carry out daily pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance
- Follow all site safety procedures, traffic plans, and project specifications
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and crew members
- Assist with general civil labouring tasks when required
Qualifications or requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Construction White Card
- Proven experience in civil construction
- Current RII Ticket
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Strong safety focus and a commitment to quality work
- Road construction or subdivision experience highly regarded
- Additional RII tickets & experience highly regarded
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: high school
