We’re looking for a highly experienced automotive professional to join as Executive General Manager and jointly lead our Queensland operations. This is a high impact role where you’ll drive commercial results, build exceptional teams, and play a pivotal part in the future of a growing automotive dealership group.

As part of the National leadership cohort, you will partner closely with the COO, CEO and EGM peers whilst leading sales, aftersales, financial performance, and customer outcomes across your region. You will work alongside an EGM peer who shares operational responsibility for Queensland performance.

In this role you will have the chance to influence at scale. You will lead regional performance while empowering your people, strengthening culture, and delivering meaningful commercial and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities or duties:

  • Advancing our high-performance culture across new and used car sales, aftersales, F&I, and customer engagement
  • Leading strong financial performance while building sustainable balance sheet resilience
  • Achieving OEM targets across volume, facilities and Customer experience/NPS
  • Building capability across your leadership team and managing succession
  • Fostering strong executive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Executing business strategy and driving sustainable growth
  • Ensuring compliance across legal, workplace, environmental and government standards

You’ll combine strategic vision with hands-on leadership, empowering your people to supercharge performance and achieve shared business objectives.

Qualifications or requirements:

About you:

You’re an accomplished automotive executive who brings commercial discipline and authentic people leadership, setting clear direction while holding yourself and others to high standards.

Experience needed:

  • Deep automotive expertise paired with strong commercial instinct
  • A natural ability to build trust, unite teams, and elevate leadership capability
  • A proven track record in senior leadership positions, including executive exposure with Board level
  • The ability to translate strategy into measurable performance outcomes
  • Financial acumen and data fluency to guide confident decision-making
  • The presence and credibility to influence senior stakeholders and OEM partners
  • Exceptional communication skills that ensure alignment and inspire action
  • Flexibility to travel as required
