THE OPPORTUNITY:

Estimating Team Manager

THE BUILDER:

Join one of Australia’s leading home building companies as an Estimating Team Manager. You’ll oversee a team of estimators, both onshore and offshore, making sure project costs are accurate, competitive, and delivered on time. This role is key to the success of our sales and production projects.

THE DAY TO DAY:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of estimators to meet performance and quality targets.
  • Prepare, review, and manage detailed cost estimates, tenders, and contract pricing.
  • Collaborate with Design, Construction, and Procurement teams to align costs with project plans.
  • Review BOQs, material take-offs, and supplier quotes to ensure value and accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities to improve estimating processes, templates, and systems.

THE MUST HAVES:

  • 5+ years in residential estimating, ideally with team leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and codes.
  • Skilled in using estimating software such as Bluebeam and Business Craft, as well as Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A hands-on leader who can mentor and motivate a team.
  • Full Australian Working Rights
  • Drivers License
