TASKS INCLUDE:
- Observe client’s wellbeing and make recommendations about care enhancement to their Case Manager
- Assisting our client with social support, personal care and community access
- Administering medications
- Maintaining records and communicating with doctors
- Participate in client reviews and work with the client’s family to evaluate health outcomes
- Provide wound care and management and assessments
ABOUT YOU:
You are a fantastic communicator. You are not easily flustered and remain calm and collected in all sorts of situations.
You enjoy being productive, reliable and getting things done, and because you are proactive and organised you have a knack for helping people.
You know how to get your point across to be understood and you easily understand others. After having met you, people remember the way you made them feel. This is due to your natural warmth and the fact that you are a good listener.
YOU WILL HAVE:
- Recent experience using a non-rebreather (within the last 6–12 months preferred)
- Experience supporting clients with neurological, cardiac, and respiratory conditions
- Minimum 2 year experience as a RN (valid AHPRA registration)
- Recent clinical experience and competency, particularly in wound care, dementia, acute care and palliative care
- Fall prevention, seizure management and PEG feeding experience are ideal
- Previous community nursing experience is highly advantageous for this role
- Must have a current driver’s licence, a reliable road worthy vehicle and full comprehensive insurance.
- Valid CPR (issued within the last 12 months)
- NDIS workers screening check is essential
Availability
- Day shifts and night shifts
- Monday to Sunday availability (including active overnight shifts)
- Ability to work long shifts (8:00am – 2:00pm and 2:00pm – 8:00am)
