About the Role:
Provide drafting services including drafting advice and creation of technical drawings for construction in order to support the business.
Role requirements:
Provide drafting services including drafting advice and creation of technical drawings for construction in order to support the business.
Demonstrate a proactive approach to personnel and workplace safety, environment and quality, ensuring compliance with and the application of DBCT P/L’s systems, standards, specifications and procedures.
Requirement to operate within MRU/BU wide frame of reference and understand how MRU activities impact other areas of the organisation.
Requirement to identify and apply a range of varied techniques, systems or professional standards to investigate, analyse, diagnose and implement reliable interventions to ensure delivery of design outcomes.
Provide professional advice that influences or contributes to decision making of others, including peers and supervisors.
Provide advice that relates to the identification, evaluation or analysis of specific issues or problems impacting on technical drawing and their broader implications to ensure operational effectiveness or efficiency within immediate MRU.
Required to work within team unit and develop sound professional relationships with peers.
Recommend and implement changes to business practices such as technical support, quality assurance to enhance the quality of outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful, you’ll need:
Trade Qualification in Engineering Draftsperson
Knowledge of modern maintenance methods and experience in their application within a bulk materials handling environment is highly desirable.
White Card – General Construction Induction or willing to obtain
Current Driver’s Licence
Full Australian Working Rights
