We are looking for an exceptional local person to join an inspiring client to provide essential, in-home personal and community disability support.
Six reasons this job will make you curious:
- An inspiring person with disability
- A team of workers to support each other
- Great roster: same person, same place, same time, same co-workers
- Team members cover each other’s shifts when someone needs leave
- Paid training and quarterly team gatherings
- NDIS participant and team who decide together how care is provided
Five qualities you already have
- Healthy work ethic and team player
- Helping others is central to who you are
- Total respect for anyone living with a major disability
- Down to earth, practical and good sense of humour
- Ability to maintain the physical side of disability care with respect and kindness
Three things you are looking for

- Morning or Afternoon work of 6-10 hrs a week (with opportunity to increase)
- Long term local work that fits your lifestyle
One thing we are looking for
The right person – so, if this might be you, let your curiosity guide you!
The role:
You’ll be providing personal care, helping around the home, enjoying preparing and sharing meals together and occasional outings. There will be paid orientation and shadow shifts to make your start as smooth as possible.
Successful applicant
First, we want the right person – see above! We’ll start by calling you for a chat. Then we’ll organise a meet & greet with our person with disability and a few of the team. If everyone is happy to progress, we’ll set you up as an employee, provide orientation and two paid shadow shifts. You will need to provide us some essentials – but note the asterisks!
- The legal right to work in Australia.
- A valid driver’s license and a reliable transport to our client’s home
- National Police Check
- First Aid and CPR*
- NDIS Workers Screen*
