Diamond Driller Required– Aurenne Group Mining

Your Role – Drilling & Leadership

Rig 1: UDR 1000 multipurpose diamond rig

Rig 2: Brand new Hanjin – 16M diamond rig

Roster: 2:1 FIFO from Perth (option for DIDO from Kalgoorlie)

Location: WA Goldfields – exploration

This is a pivotal position requiring a minimum of 5 years’ experience diamond drilling in remote locations. (Gold exp highly desirable)

Lead the operation of a UDR 1000 or Hanjin rig (must have experience on this or similar rig)—ensuring safe, efficient diamond core drilling in both pit and exploration settings.

Supervise and mentor a small crew, (offsiders) and manage daily maintenance, plan drilling sequences, and optimise output.

Conduct routine inspections, ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, and liaise with geologists and site management.

Provide technical input into drill programs, suggest improvements, and support training and development of the team.(offsiders)

What You Bring

5+ years’ experience as a surface diamond driller, including exposure to UDR & Hanjin series equipment.

Proven crew leadership, safety knowledge, and ability to achieve set KPI’s and targets to ensure the drilling plan is delivered as required.

Current HR driver’s licence,

Cert III or IV in Drilling Operations (desirable)

Recent National Police Clearance suitable for a gold mine

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
