About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Deputy National Placement Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and compliance of student clinical placements across multiple campuses. This role plays a key part in ensuring high-quality placement outcomes aligned with regulatory and industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support national coordination of student placements across IHNA
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and placement requirements
- Liaise with hospitals, industry partners, and internal stakeholders
- Monitor placement availability, utilisation, and student allocation
- Maintain accurate placement records and reporting systems
- Assist in resolving placement issues and student escalations
Key Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Health, Education, Business Administration, or related field
- Relevant experience in Vocational Education & Training (VET)
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks – desirable
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in placement coordination, academic administration, or student services
Skills & Competencies
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Strong knowledge of ASQA, AQF, and VET sector requirements
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
