About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Deal Processing/Administration Clerk to join us at our Maroochydore based site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for;

  • Daily processing of the bank statement including payment allocations to various accounts with a high level of attention to detail
  • Costing of high volume new car deals across the Maroochydore based sites
  • Calculation and collation of sales commissions
  • Reconciliation of vehicle related balance sheet accounts
  • Collation of sales paperwork for vehicle sales checking for accuracy and completeness
  • Communicating and assisting the sales team with the sales process and administration duties to ensure settlements are completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Managing control measures to ensure errors, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed, and resolved
  • Problem solving around deal costings including being able to work through different scenarios

Candidate requirements

The role will require the successful candidate to showcase their exceptional organisational and communication skills in a fast-paced dynamic environment. It will require someone who is confident, organised, process driven and reliable. This role will suit someone who is looking for a role that they can truly make their own.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Established history in Automotive or a similar industry is highly desirable
  • Current Queensland Drivers Licence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate to high level computer skills (Auto IT Dealer Management System experience is advantageous)
  • Strong administration skills
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • A positive attitude
  • Excellent time management
  • Knowledge of Motor Dealership systems and basic understanding of automotive industry is highly regarded
  • Confident and professional phone manner
  • Accreditation with the Department of Transport/Registration experience is advantageous. Alternatively, training can be provided.
