We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑driven DEI Administrator to support the rollout of meaningful diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives across our organisation. If you’re passionate about creating positive cultural change and thrive in a supportive and purpose‑driven environment, this is your chance to make a real impact. This role is 3 days per week and we are open to applicants that reside in Brisbane AND the Gold Coast.

What You’ll Do:

  • Supporting the implementation of SLSQ’s DEI Strategy and action plans.
  • Providing day‑to‑day administrative support to the DEI Manager and working groups.
  • Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes.
  • Developing reports and maintaining accurate DEI documentation and dashboards.
  • Assisting with DEI workshops, training sessions and events.
  • Processing invoices and purchase orders with the Finance team.
  • Responding to DEI‑related enquiries and assisting with internal communications.
  • Supporting ad‑hoc DEI projects and initiatives as required.

About You:

  • Ability to obtain a Working with Children Blue Card.
  • Studying or completed qualifications in Business Administration (or similar).
  • 2–3 years’ experience in an administrative role.
  • Strong understanding or interest in diversity, equity and inclusion principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks, meet deadlines and collaborate across teams.
  • High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
  • Discretion and good judgment when handling confidential information.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends depending on events, workshops, conferences, initiatives and programs.
