Welcome To Primary Connect

Primary Connect is the most extensive food and retail supply chain network in Australia and New Zealand. Our 10,000-strong team is an essential part of the expansive Woolworths Group, which encompasses Woolworths Supermarkets and Metro stores, BIG W, Countdown NZ, Quantium, and more. With us, your possibilities are not limited to a single opportunity. We’re delivering to more than 3,000 retail stores every day (stores like Woolworths, BIG W, Dan Murphy’s, and BWS), but at Primary Connect, we’re more than just a supply chain business. We’re a big team, but every individual plays a pivotal role and leaves a distinctive impact.

About The Role

As a Distribution Centre (DC) Storeperson, you will play a key role in ensuring that the right stock gets to the right store at the right time for our customers. Primary Connect is constantly changing to meet business demands. This position requires a strong sense of teamwork and focus on safety to ensure that products are dispatched in a timely manner to our customers. Your commitment and alignment to our purpose of "connecting communities with the products they need and love" will help drive the success of the DC.

What You’ll Do

  • Make a real impact and accurately assemble and package stock into orders to be delivered to stores on time, in a temperature controlled environment (between 2 and 13 degrees) all year round
  • Master new skills to become proficient in using voice pick technology and operating Manual Handling Equipment (MHE).
  • Ensure safety and compliance and uphold important company policies and safety standards, making a difference in a responsible role.
  • Grow in a fast-paced environment and thrive in a dynamic setting where your work is valued and efficiency is key.
  • Be part of a dynamic team and collaborate with supportive team members and play a crucial role in optimising a clean and organised warehouse environment.

Why This Opportunity Is Perfect For You

  • Develop strength and enhance your physical capabilities by repetitively lifting and handling items up to 20 kg.
  • Sharpen your focus and use your attention to detail, a valuable skill in any field.
  • Demonstrate your effective communication skills while working closely with team members.
  • Previous pick/packer experience will be highly regarded, and you'll gain valuable experience to further your career.
  • Learn, adapt and be comfortable using warehouse equipment and embrace new technology.
  • Show your dedication and demonstrate your willingness to work during peak periods

Endless possibilities with Woolworths Group

We're a proud part of the Woolworths Group – 200,000+ bright minds, passionate hearts and unique perspectives working together connected by a shared Purpose – to create better experiences together for a better tomorrow.

Here you’ll be supported and empowered to explore new ideas, make brave commitments and innovate better ways to meet the food and everyday needs of more than 24 million customers every week. Backed by a culture of genuine care, a flexible approach to work and the support to grow your career and make a meaningful impact, the possibilities for what we can achieve together are endless.
