About the Role
In this role, you will manage a varied portfolio of clients across import and export operations, and Sea and Air Freight, ensuring seamless coordination of shipments and consistently high service standards. You’ll play a key role in onboarding new accounts, maintaining strong client relationships, and driving operational excellence through collaboration and continuous improvement. The role requires keeping up to date daily of all bookings, consolidations, internal product offerings, airfreight, ensuring all necessary parties both, internally and externally are quickly and precisely informed of standard or exception shipping information as required

Qualifications or requirements
3+ years previous experience in freight forwarding, international logistics, Sea and Air Freight or import/export customer service Strong understanding of shipment workflows, documentation, and Incoterms Experience working with logistics systems (e.g. CargoWise, OneTrack or similar) Excellent communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach High attention to detail with strong data accuracy and organisational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform under pressure Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a collaborative approach Confident using business systems and Microsoft Office (or similar tools) Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure, with clear focus on outcomes.

- Manage relationships with clients via phone and email, ensuring expectations are consistently met and exceeded
- Coordinate import and export shipments end-to-end, from booking through to final delivery
- Track shipments, monitor milestones, and proactively communicate updates or issues to stakeholders
- Maintain accurate data and records across systems and reporting tools
- Support onboarding and transition of new client accounts, including system setup and SOP development
- Prepare and maintain customer dashboards, reports, alerts, and escalation updates
- Collaborate with internal teams, sales, and key account managers to optimise supply chain outcomes
- Assist with ad hoc quoting, invoicing queries, and missing documentation escalations
- Create, confirm, and manage routing orders and purchase order processes
- Attend onboarding and implementation meetings as required to support new business integration
- Maintain high service standards through consistent, professional communication with clients and internal teams
- Monitor system alerts, escalation reports, and operational risks to ensure service levels are maintained
