About the Role

The Compliance Manager is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the organisation meets all regulatory and quality assurance requirements across IHNA.

You will lead compliance strategy, manage audits, and ensure adherence to ASQA, AQF, and VET regulatory frameworks, while driving a culture of continuous improvement and accountability across IHNA campuses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee compliance with ASQA Standards for RTOs and other regulatory requirements
  • Lead internal and external audits, including preparation and audit responses
  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures
  • Monitor regulatory updates and ensure organisational readiness and alignment
  • Provide training, coaching, and guidance to staff on compliance obligations
  • Identify compliance risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across training and assessment practices
  • Collaborate with academic and operational teams to ensure quality delivery
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and reporting systems

Key Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Compliance, Education, Business, or related field
  • Additional compliance or quality assurance certifications – advantageous

Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in RTO compliance, quality assurance, or regulatory roles within the VET sector

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven experience in RTO compliance, quality assurance, or regulatory environments
  • Strong knowledge of ASQA, AQF, and VET sector requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in audit preparation and regulatory audits
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational abilities
  • High-level communication and report-writing skills
  • Ability to interpret legislation and translate into operational practice
