We’re looking for Registered Nurses to join our growing Community Nursing team in Adelaide Hills in full or part time permanent positions.
Responsibilities or duties
As a Community Nurse you will build rapport with your clients in their homes, whilst providing care and service to clients in line with their personalised care plans, including health assessments, chronic wound care and medication administration as well as providing education and support to the patient and their family.
You’ll work on a rotating 7-day roster between 7am and 10pm, with flexibility where possible and no night shifts.
At Amplar Health, your wellbeing comes first. You’ll start and finish your day at home, with the support of our dedicated coordination team—you can spend more time doing what you do best: caring for people.
Qualifications or requirements
About you
With previous experience working in the community, delivering a broad range of nursing care and interventions, you are comfortable working autonomously with a patient centred approach and can spot client deterioration.
- Current unrestricted AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Current drivers’ licence & reliable vehicle
- 2 Years’ recent acute experience in a hospital or community setting
- Competent IT skills/literacy
Highly regarded:
- PICC management
- Cannulation competent
- Experience in chronic wound care and negative pressure therapy,
- Continence management
- Paediatric experience
