About the Role
We are seeking an organised and creative Communications & Events Coordinator to support internal communications and deliver engaging events across the business. This role will play a key part in driving employee engagement, coordinating company events, and ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the organisation.
Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will coordinate a range of events and initiatives that contribute to a positive workplace culture.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will:
- Draft and distribute internal communications across the business including newsletters, announcements and business updates
- Create, plan and deliver an annual calendar of internal and external events, activations and community initiatives
- Design and produce event invitations and communication materials
- Coordinate event logistics including venues, suppliers, catering and materials
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure events are delivered successfully and autonomously
- Drive employee engagement initiatives including team social club events and culture-based activities
- Conduct research and explore industry best practices to continuously improve events, activations and engagement opportunities
About You
- Demonstrated experience or qualifications in events management, communications, marketing or a related field
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience creating communications or invitations using Canva, PowerPoint or similar design tools
- Ability to work independently and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- A proactive and creative mindset with a passion for delivering engaging events
- Understanding or experience within the building, construction or property industry is desirable not essential.
