Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently liaise with Course Coordinators to establish and communicate lab session timetables promptly to students.
  • Coordinate and facilitate simulation and skills during lab sessions.
  • Prepare and maintain simulation labs, equipment, and consumables.
  • Collaborate with educators to align simulations with curriculum outcomes.
  • Engage students to achieve confidence and competence in nursing skills.
  • Successfully manage and finalize necessary paperwork related to laboratory sessions, including the Lab attendance register and Lab equipment/inventory register.
  • Collaborate with Academic Staff and Course Coordinators to Ensure 100% Alignment of Simulation Scenarios with Curriculum Objectives
  • Achieve student engagement rate of at least 90% to promote active participation and engagement in lab activities, enhancing hands-on learning experiences.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered Nurse (Division 1) with 1 year experience
  • current AHPRA registration.
  • Experience in clinical education, nursing simulation, or facilitation.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.
  • Passionate about innovative learning and shaping future healthcare professionals.
  • Committed to maintaining high standards of clinical and educational excellence.

Please note successful candidates are required to have the following checks:

  • National Police Clearance (valid within the last 6 months) or willing to apply for one
  • Working with Children Check or willing to apply for one
