✨About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Diploma Qualified Room Leader (Baby room) who understands the importance of quality early childhood education and is confident in working with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
✨Key Duties:
- Lead, supervise and develop your team of educators;
- Development and implementation of high quality educational and care programs;
- Management of daily routines and room environment;
- Provide a high quality service to children, parents and the local community;
- Foster strong relationships with the families and the school community;
- Compliance with all relevant regulations and statutory requirements; and
- Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained at a high level at all times.
✨The successful candidate will have:
- An ACEQA approved qualification - Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent (or better);
- A current Working with Children Check;
- HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates; and
- An understanding and working knowledge on the National Quality Framework, which includes: National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF);
- Strong programming skills;
- Strong communication skills;
- Previous experience in a similar position; and
- Demonstrated skills using electronic on-line documentation tools such as Storypark (desirable).
