A key government organisation undergoing a significant transformation following the merger of two government agencies. This large-scale integration is driving both technology and organisational change, creating an exciting opportunity for an experienced Change professional to play a key role in the transition.
Your new role
Working as part of a small, high-performing change team (4–5 people), you will support the successful delivery of change initiatives across people, processes, and technology. You will be instrumental in ensuring stakeholders are engaged and supported throughout the merger.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing the impact of change initiatives on a broad range of stakeholders
- Supporting the development and execution of change and transition plans
- Collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to manage the transition of people and processes
- Developing key messaging, communication plans, and delivery schedules
- Supporting technology change, including how users interact with new or updated systems
- Driving people and organisational change outcomes resulting from the departmental merger
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in change management within large, complex organisations
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience supporting organisational restructures, mergers, or integration projects (highly desirable)
- Ability to analyse impacts across people, process, and technology
- Experience working alongside multiple agencies or government bodies (highly desirable)
- A proactive, collaborative approach and ability to work in a small team environment
