Barista:
Do you have a passion for coffee? Thrive in a fast pasted environment? And love engaging with customers?
We are on the lookout for enthusiastic and motivated Baristas to join the team and help us open this brand new store!
As a Soul Origin Barista, you'll have access to the highest quality Speciality Coffee and work with the best brewing equipment on the market to create our delicious coffee beverages.
To Be successful in this role you'll have:
- A minimum of 6 months Barista experience
- Availability to work weekdays, weekends and public holidays as required
- A positive attitude and confidence to engage with customers
- Ability to work as a team - when you're not making delicious coffee, you'll be completing general duties such as serving salads and soups.
- An understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Kitchen Hand
Do you love working with fresh ingredients to make delicious, well-presented food? Do you enjoy starting and finishing work early? Can you confidently work alone, or as part of a small team? Then the Back of House role is for you!
You’ll be responsible for:
- Preparing all menu items in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ordering and receiving stock.
- Ensuring that all utensils and equipment are clean and sanitised before use.
- Cleaning and closing the kitchen at the end of the day.
To be successful you’ll have:
- Experience using commercial grade knives
- Proven ability to follow detailed make-guides and recipes
- Excellent work ethic and attention to detail
- Availability to work weekdays, weekends and public holidays as required
- A strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Preferred: A minimum of 6 months food handling experience.
