We’re on the hunt for a skilled Fitter to join our team at Carma! In this role, you’ll handle everything from prepping and reassembling vehicles to ensuring every car meets our high standards. If you’re detail-focused, thrive in a fast paced workshop, and enjoy seeing a job done right, we want you!
Responsibilities or duties
- Prepping vehicles for repairs by removing and disassembling panels and parts.
- Reassembling and refitting vehicles post-repair, ensuring they’re road-ready and Carma-approved.
- Keeping our internal system up to date with work orders and job details—accuracy is key!
- Checking vehicle functionality and quality standards post-repair.
- Collaborating with the team, especially painters, to ensure smooth workflows and accurate timelines.
- Solving problems on the go and suggesting ways to improve our processes.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Experience needed
- At least 1 year of experience in automotive fitting or panel beating.
- Able to handle a busy, dynamic workshop with changing priorities.
- Detail-oriented and proud of the quality of your work.
- Skilled at meeting deadlines.
- Tech-savvy - experience with Apple products or DMS systems is a bonus.
- Clean NSW driver’s license and a can-do attitude!

In this role you’ll be based in our St Peters, Sydney site, with room for parking and train/ bus stops nearby.
