We are looking for a seasoned Automation Test Lead to architect, design, and drive our end-to-end quality engineering strategy. You will lead a high-performing team to build scalable automation frameworks for both web-based UIs and microservices-driven backend APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Architecture: Define and implement a robust automation roadmap, choosing Playwright based on project needs (modern vs. legacy apps).
• API Automation: Architect and maintain advanced API test suites using Rest Assured with Java, ensuring 90%+ coverage for RESTful services.
• UI Automation: Develop reusable and maintainable UI automation frameworks using Page Object Model (POM) or BDD (Cucumber).
• Team Leadership: Mentor junior automation engineers, conduct code reviews, and manage onshore/offshore resource allocation.
• CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites into Jenkins or GitHub Actions pipelines to enable "Shift-Left" testing and continuous quality.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Product Owners and Developers to translate business requirements into technical test scenarios.

Required Technical Skills

• API Testing: Hands-on mastery of Rest Assured, Postman, and JSON/XML schema validation.
• UI Frameworks: Proficient in Microsoft Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript/Java).
• Tools: Strong command over Git, Maven/Gradle, and TestNG/JUnit.
• Agile: Experience working in a fast-paced Scrum/Agile environment
