About the role

We are currently seeking Associate Medical Educator in our Murrumbidgee and ACT region. As an Associate Medical Educator, you’ll:

  • provide targeted support and education for GP registrars, guiding them from entry into the program through to fellowship via peer learning sessions, one-on-one support, and practice visits.
  • collaborate with Training Coordinators, Program Support Officers, and external partners to ensure high-quality outcomes for registrars and practices.
  • build strong relationships with registrars, supervisors, and practices, tailoring support to local needs for optimal training and progress.
  • support supervisors with professional development and in-practice teaching, promoting general practice as a career and strengthening rural and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander training pathway

Skills & Experience

  • RACGP fellowship (or equivalent) and a passion for medical education
  • Experience in teaching or mentoring registrars, medical students or peers will be highly valued
