Job Description
Your Opportunity
As an Associate Director, you will play a key leadership role supporting a diverse client portfolio across a diverse client base.
You will
- Lead income tax-focused advisory work across a range of areas, such as business/group restructures, mergers and acquisitions and international expansion
- Lead client engagements covering income tax issues such as capital gains tax rollovers, tax consolidation, tax loss utilisation, Division 7A, thin capitalisation and significant global entities
- Deliver income tax returns across a broad range of clients covering corporate, international and private groups, including companies and trusts
- Lead ATO reviews and audits for a diverse client base and collaborate with the ATO
- Deliver tax risk management and governance frameworks for businesses & groups
- Ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely delivery of all client work
- Build and maintain client relationships through regular engagement and high-quality delivery
- Collaborate with the wider KPMG firm to deliver integrated client outcomes
- Support the development and coaching of team members and contribute to a positive team culture
- Contribute to broader team success and development through leading tax training and thought leadership initiatives.
- Lead management of on-going team initiatives such as workflow management, process improvement and team building
