Summary

Position title: Assistant Principal Religious Education

Location: St Joseph's School, BARDON

Start date: 18/01/2027

Work hours: Full-time

Salary: $149,763 - $157,120 + super

Status:This is a substantive 5 year appointment as Assistant Principal (with a further 5 years offer subject to a positive review), with an underlying continuing teaching status.

About You

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

  • Experience as an Assistant Principal, Assistant Principal Religious Education, Deputy Principal, Head of Campus or Principal, or a senior role providing support and leadership to Catholic schools, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in teaching, and leading the teaching of, religious education.

Eligibility And Safeguarding Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
  • Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
  • For this position you are required to be Catholic (or a faith partner of one of our ecumenical schools).

  • Extensive experience in educational leadership, including a strong track record of implementing innovative teaching practices, curriculum development, and improving student outcomes in accordance with AITSL standards.
